Why your scalp is not your face after shaving

Exposed scalp skin behaves differently from facial skin — especially after you shave. Here is why dedicated care matters.

When you shave your head, you are not simply extending your face care routine upward. You are caring for exposed scalp skin that is shaved frequently, visible in full light and often treated with products never designed for it.

Facial skin and scalp skin share similarities, but the daily experience of a shaved head is different: texture, shine, residue, comfort after shaving and how products feel hours later.

Face moisturisers may feel too rich. Aftershave balms may focus on the jawline, not the crown. Hair products assume hair is still there. None fully address the matte, clean, comfortable finish many head shavers want.

SheerForm exists because bald and shaved heads deserve skincare built around that reality — not borrowed from somewhere else.
